Storms have torn the supporting bank away from this tree. Like many along the Nova Scotia coast, it will soon fall to the sea.

Another grafitti tree based on two photographs I took in Scotland last year. I wonder where all these people are now? Making this drawing was pretty paintful as I could not reach the top to draw, I ended up sitting on a cushion in the back garden and crouching over the drawing, I even put the cushion on the drawing and sat on the drawing itself. It was pretty ambitious. It hasn't put me off though, I'd like to do something bigger if possible.

Watercolor & Ink

Playing around again....this was done with ripped strips of blue painters tape for the tree masking, then spraying and spattering, dry, remove tape and finish trees with watercolor and ink...:)

Another tree/light/shadow pic, but i just love the mood in the forest these days.

Lake Serene near Mt. Index in Washington State
